Hard working kid who brings it every time she steps onto the floor. A fearless competitor who is an exceptional teammate, this athletic kid is a go-getter. I say athletic because she plays three sports. That right there takes a lot of focus and discipline not to mention you also have to keep your studies up. This kid is a grinder on both ends of the floor. She can put it in the bottom of the net, but too, she will get after it on D. Having someone who is disciplined will ultimately become a great leader. If you want someone who can hoop and have leadership qualities. Take a look at this kid.

The lefty PG is an excellent offensive player. Her head fake, and hesitations are terrific. Very good at keep defenders off balance, and and soon as their weight shifts, she beats in the initial defender. Exceptional finisher with her left hand. Her AAU team even put in her the post and let her go to work with her left. Really tough matchup. Still a developing shooter.

is just different. When you see her walk in the gym you assume she a post player. Then once the game gets rolling, you realize “oh….she’s a 6’0 PG!” At her size she has great court vision, and can see over and through the defense. She’s strong enough to not get bumped off her lines. She gets to her spots. And he can hit the 3 ball. The lefty has major D1 interest and her stock is on the rise.

Taya is a 6’0 point guard with great vision, she puts her teammates in great positions to score and she can score it herself when she needs to. She’s a lefty with division 1 interest and after watching her this weekend we see why.

Totten has had a big week for Portland. She averaging 17 a game over the last 6 games, and is playing terrific basketball as they are on a hot-streak heading into the district tourney. In their win on Monday, not only did they earn a share of the regular season district championship, but Totten also surpassed 1,000 points for her career. Congrats kid!

Totten’s play for Portland has been a bit under the radar this year. She’s a really dynamic ball handler and shot maker, and has been Portland’s best player this season. While she has some flash to her game (capable of going off for 20 for example), she still plays with an old-school floor-general vibe.
