Williams has some scary upside, and when you add that she’s “long and athletic” which is the base. Her defense was smothering at times. She beats the offensive player to the spot and makes them pick up their dribble, yet she also creates havoc to force turnovers. She showed a slight HEZ to attack the basket, solid body control on her finishes, after contact included, but she’s also heady, and making the right decisions under pressure was a plus. After the steal, she played the passing lane and gave a nice spin move in the open court that many heading to the next level can’t do, and her court vision, not only in the set but also in transition, was solid. She created her shot to drop the jumper while being defended
