About Taylor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A high energy and high motor on both ends of the floor. Take a lot of pride in my defense and doing the little things that don’t always show up in the box score. Offensively, I see the floor well and like to facilitate, getting teammates involved and making reads. Can stretch the defense by knocking down the three, and getting to the rim finishing through contact

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m mentally tough and can play through being tired or in pain. I never quit, will do anything to benefit the team and I lead by example.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Beta Club and Kids for Christ

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership skills by leading by example, staying positive, and always putting the team first. I also value giving back, and I help with St. Baldrick’s events through my parents’ business, along with other local community events whenever I can.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I didn’t make the junior high 8th-grade team as a 6th grader, even though I felt I should have. I used that as motivation, worked extremely hard, and the next year I not only made the junior high team but also earned a spot on the high school varsity team as a 7th grader

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for the right fit with a program that values a high-motor, high-IQ, team-oriented point guard. Right now I lean toward a smaller school environment, but I’m open to exploring all options where I can grow, compete, and contribute. Looking for a school with a good business school where I can get my MBA.
