Smith shows me something different each time I see her play, but let me start with her “long and athletic” which is the base. She rebounded strongly on both ends and ran the floor, but her “hands and footwork” were nice. When you add that she not only did a good job sealing the defender to score, her “drop step” around the basket was also effective. She also did a good job defensively inside the paint

Smiyth closes things out with by saying she’s long and even more athletic than the last time I saw her. Her timing has improved as she came from out of nowhere to block shots, and she also hit the board on both ends, and gave me the hands and footwork to score

Smith was one of the bright spots for me at the Conroe Lady Tiger Classic and one more time, I love seeing “on the court” progression see evaluation here She gave me some nice moves to finish around the basket, also a glimpse of the “hands and footwork” yet she also scored off the dribble. She also made good passes and showed she could switch on defense fluidly

Smith looks taller than her listed height yet I don’t have 20/20 anymore, nevertheless, she plays taller and when you combine her college-ready frame as well as her athleticism, she goes AFTA everything off the rim and defends in and outside the paint, what else can I say. Well, she also finishes powerfully inside after contact, nice upside
