led Crater High to a state championship with poise and purpose, putting up around 20 points per game while elevating everyone around her. Named Oregon 5A Player of the Year, she’s not just a scorer; she’s a leader with a deep understanding of the moment. Whether it’s breaking a press, hitting a clutch jumper, or setting the tone defensively, Taylor thrives under pressure. Her swagger isn’t showy, it’s earned through consistent production and high-level composure. Every possession, she brings a mix of smooth handles, court vision, and scoring instincts that make her hard to guard and easy to trust. Already committed to Oregon State, she’s bringing that same intensity and focus to the next level. Taylor doesn’t just play the game, she commands it. And as her game continues to grow, she’s poised to make noise in the Pac-12 from day one.

is an unassuming hooper with killer instincts and was named the Class 5A Player of the Year. Don’t let her calm facade fool you, because she’s locked in at all times. The 5-foot-7 guard is a smooth operator with a soft touch from all three levels. She nets the ball from deep, swishes the midrange floater, and hangs in the air for the illusion of a slow-motion finish at the rim. Young is a sneaky defender. When she isn’t picking pockets, she lures point guards into the wing pass, jumps the lane for the steal, and finishes the breezy breakaway layup (then proceeds to steal the following inbound pass for another quick bucket). Young averaged 21 points, 5 steals, 4.5 assists (>1 assist to turnover ratio), and 3.5 rebounds per game to help the Comets win the Midwestern League title and earn herself League Player of the Year in her junior season. She put up those numbers while averaging under 22 minutes of playing time per game. The league champion was the top scorer at the 5A state tournament. She also led in steals and was top three in assists. Young averaged 28.7 points (shooting 57% from the field, 31% from three), 6.7 steals, and 4.7 assists per game to lead the Comets to a state championship title and earn herself a unanimous All-Tournament First Team placement. Young has multiple D1 offers.

is the full package at that position. Young was one of the necessary pieces in South Medford’s state championship run last season, and she earned first team all-Southwest Conference while also being the conference DPOY, proving her elite ability on both ends of the court. She is a gifted scorer at all three levels, as demonstrated by her 18.4 points per game on 61% shooting and 38% shooting from beyond the arc at the NorCal Spring Live tournament a few weeks ago, in addition to seeing the floor and passing at a very high level.

is one of the absolute best of them. Stepping into the point guard role this year, Young is showing people how it’s done, averaging 17.4 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists per game so far this year. Young can stroke shots from deep and when she makes up her mind to get to the rim with her lightning-quick first step and her incredible ability to finish around the rim, there is little opposing defenders can do. And on the defensive end, she is one of the top on-ball defenders in the state of Oregon with her relentless effort.
