Brady Peterson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
The Waunakee guard is one of the more dynamic primary ball handlers in Wisconsin. Bryan has the athleticism to blow by anyone defensively and can put pressure on any defense she lines up against. She has always been a player who can force the issue offensively and has cleaned up many of the mistakes she made in her first season of high school basketball. Bryan is a player who will continue to improve at the next level, as she continues to get reps against talented players. Bryan has Division 1 offers on the table, but remains uncommitted.

The speed and athleticism that Bryan has allowed her teammates to create open looks. Bryan has also become a legitimate perimeter threat, beating teams based on her ability to knock down shots. The Waunakee guard has also shown improvement over the first two seasons of her high school career. She’s willing to learn and try things on the floor. Sometimes she makes mistakes on the floor, but she doesn’t let it change how she plays on either end of the floor, and she improves because of it. She’s a player to watch over the next 12 months. She could take another leap this coming high school season and help earn the Warriors a trip to the state tournament.

is a lightning rod who can flip a game on its head quickly. The Warrior has scored in bunches this season, but her ability to collapse a defense on a drive and then find an open teammate to get the ball to is something she didn’t do as well last season. Sometimes, you may shake your head and wonder what she’s thinking, but to get the best out of her. Bryan needs the freedom to make mistakes. She’s at her best when she gets out and runs or turns the corner and gets downhill, and mistakes happen when you play as fast as she does, and that’s ok. However, I’d argue the improvement Waunakee has seen this season has to do with Bryan playing in a press and a five-out lineup. She’s probably the most entertaining to watch in her class.
