Tessa showcased her versatility and leadership all day long. She hit the baseline jumper on the move and worked the offensive boards with effort and focus. Her high release made her shot tough to contest, and her communication on defense and out of bounds plays set her apart. The recent UMass commit played with confidence and composure that lifted her teammates.

Tessa had so many deflections in the game I saw with some of the most active hands defensively that I saw in the whole building. Her length and ability to read the offense’s eyes was unmatched. She also stepped out and hit the 3 ball and showed really nice elevation on her jumper. Tessa plays with a fantastic motor and was really impressive in Chicago.

Tessa is undoubtedly one of the top shooters in her class. Her length on defense is clutch as she blocks shots and deflects passes regularly. She can really elevate on her mid-range jumper and does a nice job of cutting without the ball. She holds offers from UNCW, Stetson, UNF, Furman, and Boston.

Tessa Gladieux Tessa Gladieux 5'10" | SG DME Academy | 2026 State FL was a pesky defender knowing exactly when to explode in the passing lanes pushing it up the court for some points.  She picked the pocket of her opponents becoming a headache for guards trying to get by her.  She did well finding the openings on offense knowing how to score on multiple levels.

Gladieux is a big guard who can score. She can shoot from the outside, she can create space in the paint, or she can get to the foul line. Gladieux plays hard and she has a motor that never stops. She is an elite talent who continues to improve. She is also a tremendous passer and sets her teammates up several times per game. Gladieux is a versatile talent who can take over a game through scoring, passing, rebounding, or defending.

Tessa can shoot the basketball. She has deep three-point range. She can shoot in transition, in the half court, and from the midrange as well. In transition, she sets her feet and is ready to shoot the moment the basketball hits her hands. Tessa is fun to watch on the basketball court.
