is a guard with great awareness on the court whether she knows where she is to pull up for a shot or attack the basket. Her ability to create open lanes is fun to watch as she gets to the rim. She’s dangerous knocking down shots from around the perimeter, too.

North Carolina also benefitted from the 17 points that were placed on the scoreboard courtesy of Thompson. She was a key reason why West Rowan was one of the teams to beat in the 5A ranks. Thompson is set to remain in-state for her collegiate career as she can now transition to life at UNC-Wilmington. She averaged 26.1 points, five assists, four rebounds, three steals and one block per game. While she is listed as a point guard, she can display accuracy from behind the 3-point line alongside her ability to draw contact and give her team chances from the free throw line.

Is a true three level scorer who has the ability to get buckets in a hurry. She plays with great pace and can score from all over the floor. Her jumper is money and she finishes well at the rim for her size. Tiara is a talented scorer who also creates opportunities for teammates and limits turnovers. A really good college prospect that is a playmaker!

Tiara is a really good on ball defender and logged five steals in the game to go along with her 22 points. She scored from inside and beyond the arc and made her free throws as well. She has a quick release that allowed her to get up shots even when closely guarded.

Tiara is a very athletic guard with good height. She is a newcomer because she is new to Maryland but she is not new to the rankings. She is an effective guard from anywhere on the court and we are watching to see if she can be just as affective against the top locals as she was down south.

Tiara Thompson does a nice job looking up the court making long passes to her teammates cutting in the lanes for fast breaks. She grabs steals herself to score on solo fast breaks. She even showed off her ability to block some shots. She plays with a calm composure every time she is on the court showing how she doesn’t get rattled even when pressure comes on her when she’s handling the ball.
