Turman’s energy in the press and timely offense gave the Blue Devils a spark in their comeback bid against East Laurens which fell just short. Tiyah was relentless on defense, always on the floor trying to win 50/50 balls. Her toughness going up against bigger players helped set the tone for the Blue Devils. She dug out 7 steals to go with her 12 points and 3 assists. Tiyah went 7-8 from the line and drained a three-pointer.

Tiyah also did a great job pushing the ball out on the break in transition and kicking the ball ahead to open teammates for easy scores. Turman played very good defense, pestering the ball handlers from Commerce and Rabun County.
