Trapper played significant minutes on the varsity as an eighth grader.  She is a lefty who is tough going to her strong hand.  She has a very quick first step and reads primary defenders well.  The Mavericks like to put Ackerson into ball-screen action where she thrives.  She plays with good pace and can attack the basket or throw the pocket-pass to the roller.  She has a good shooting form with a nice release.  Trapper should be a multi-year All-District and All-Region selection in the future.
