Curry established herself as one of the more physical and polished forwards at the event. She controlled the paint with strong rebounding and solid post footwork while consistently finishing around the basket. Her mid-range jumper was smooth and reliable throughout the weekend, making her difficult to defend when facing up. Curry’s toughness, consistency, and ability to impact the game inside made her one of the top post players in attendance.

does most of her damage down low. She is a great interior defender and excels at timing opponents’ shot attempts inside the paint to get contests and blocks.
On the offensive side of things, Curry moves well in and out of traffic. With her offensive game, she can go off for big scoring performances on any given night. Last season, she had multiple games with 15 or more points.
It will be exciting to see how Curry’s game grows in year three of her high school hoops career.

Physical post player who knows how to utilize her body to her advantage. She is going to outmuscle the opposition, burying them as she gains ground to where she wants to be. She will go up strong, finishing through contact on her way to scoring the basketball. When she smells blood in the water, she is going to demand the basketball, finishing not only around the low blocks, but the elbow area as well. Solid defensively, she isn’t going to let anyone establish real estate down low nor outrebound her. She is a solid contributor whose game isn’t done growing yet. Keep tabs on this young lady as she will be someone special down the road.

Despite the loss, Curry led her team in scoring with 15 points. Trinity is one of the best at her position! She continues to show off good footwork. She knows exactly how to use her strong frame. If Trinity gets you on her back within 10 feet of the basket, you can count it! She can use a power dribble to attack or she simply goes up strong to finish! She finishes exceptionally well around the rim. This Farragut team is one to keep your eyes on. They will click on all cylinders and the matchup against Bearden will be another great one!

Curry slowly carved out a role for herself on this past year’s Farragut team, and by the end of the season, she was playing crucial minutes. Her offensive game is ahead of her defense at this point, but her potential is through the roof. She has quick feet with sneak athleticism. Really nice rebounder with high-end touch around the rim. She’s going to end up being really really good.

Made a name for herself late in last season as Farragut went on a big run to substate. I wrote about her last June as a high upside kid that had really nice feet, and big motor, and a nice back to the basket game. Her defense improved tremendously throughout the course of this past year (playing for Coach Mayfield will do that for you), and she was an above average rebounder all season.
While her scoring never really had a chance to show (it wasn’t her role), I was SUPER impressed with her ability to pass the basketball. One of the secret weapons that is rarely used anymore is a post that can pass. Getting the ball inside the defense, behind the eyes of the opponent, sets up all types of offensive advantages. Curry proved to be a nice passer vs collapsing zones to shooters, hi/low from the short corner, and displayed the ability to hit cutter “on time and on target.”

is coming….
I don’t think she’s ever going to be a16 and 10 kid…it’s just not in her DNA. She’s been rock solid this summer for Farragut as a solid scorer, and above average rebounder. She’s looking more and more the part of a high-end starting HS post that can has a ton of versatility. I’ve been raving about her passing ability for a year now, and her IQ is improving rapidly from the people I’ve spoken to. She’s showing big-time development, and is the type of X factor that could help Farragut go from good to great. If she tops out as a 12 point, 8 rebound, 4 assists post….that’s a dynamic player to me. Keep improving kid.

Curry may just be the most dominate freshman that you are going to find. She uses her size extremely well and dominates inside. She uses her height and court vision extremely well to pass out of the post if the defense collapses on her or sends help. She shows a good understanding of the game! She’s strong, physical, and a great inside presence! Keep your eyes on Trinity!

Did a great job battling on the glass. Never misses a box out. Dominant rebounder. Showed flashes offensively—showed off the midrange touch from the top of the key.

Trin is an incredible teammate, and she works incredibly hard. Over the season, her minutes have increased for the Farragut Admirals. She’s currently 5’11, and she has great size for a post player. She has a great shot from 15 feet, and she’s tough to guard on the interior. I expect her to develop a more consistent inside game this summer. We really want her to dominate the paint! Curry played huge in Farraguts run to a region championship.
