Thompson continues to elevate her game from my past sightings see evaluations here and always remember how important the double combo, “long and athletic” and standing at “the magic number” means before even stepping on the court. Her intangibles keep getting better, going AFTA everything off the rim on both ends, coming from out of nowhere to block shots and finishing strongly around the rim after contact, outbacks included, yet her first step is even better for her to attack off the dribble and her dropping the jumper with a hand in her face was another plus

#56 up from #59 Thompson is in a very unique spot because she stands at “the magic number” and is showing versatility on the court, on both ends. She scores around the basket, she rebounds on both ends and she can defend, in and outside the paint see evaluations here

Thompson showed up and out at the Sandra Meadows Classic on opening day and that event has been a MUST STOP for me since 2006. Yeah, she’s long and athletic and I mentioned in the article that she could play multiple positions yet I failed to mention “on both ends”. Her upside is nice, she stands at “the magic number” so I’m watching see evaluation here

Thompson gave me a very nice first look and left a lasting first impression because she is not only “long and athletic” which is the base, but she also showed she could play multiple positions effectively. Her first step to attack and score was nice, she also scored on putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends. Watching her create her shot and drop it from mid to long-range was another plus
