Trista Ohlmeier Trista Ohlmeier 6'1" | PF MVAOCOU | 2025 IA îs putting together a senior season to remember with her MVAOCOU squad. Ohlmeier is not only putting up impressive numbers in her own right with 15.7 PPG on 46% shooting and 11.5 RPG but her team is also sitting with a 14-1 record as they look to end their season off on a positive note in a couple of weeks. Ohlmeier is this groups presence in the middle of the lane. She is someone that stands taller than most at 6’1/6’2, she is really athletic for her size, and she has great movement. I’m not sure if this is someone that is committed with another sport but if not, there are several college coaches in the basketball world out of the Midwest, who would love a 2025 commit with this size. If she continues to play smart basketball, who knows who could be reaching out before the end of the season.

Trista Ohlmeier Trista Ohlmeier 6'1" | PF MVAOCOU | 2025 IA is another player that has been high ranking in several positive statistical categories throughout her high school career at MVAOCOU. Ohlmeier stands at 6’1, she has a better than average motor for her position, she can defend as well as anyone I’ve seen, and she is smart when it comes to the situational part of the game that is dealing with the X’s and O’s. Obviously everyone included in this piece is a top rebounder but I’d like to think that Trista is a top prospect out of her 2A Class. Time and time again she has proven that she is willing an ready to step up for a challenge so now it’s just about seeing how far she can push things during her last go-around this upcoming Winter.

Trista Ohlmeier Trista Ohlmeier 6'1" | PF MVAOCOU | 2025 IA is a top ranking player in the state in a few positive categories because of her play this season. If you are familiar with Ohlmeier and her demeanor, this is nothing new or surprising. Ohlmeier has a high motor and big time work ethic on both sides of the floor. This season throughout her teams 16 games, she is averaging 23 PPG on 52% shooting, 10.8 RPG, and 3.8 APG to lead her team in all three categories and help them to an overall 13-3 record. At the end of this season, there is going to be an article or three about the most important players to their perspective high school team’s this winter and Ohlmeier will be in that conversation. To average a double-double at the rate she is, while her team is dominating most of their matchups, is impressive. She still has 1.5 years left to go in her high school career but she has already had a better one then most other plays will over their entire 4 years and that says something. It says her future is bright and if she stays in love with the process, she is going to end up on a collegiate floor one day.
