With one of the prettiest follow-throughs on her shot, Tyanna is another incoming freshman with a high ceiling. She’s already shown she can handle the pressure of being one of the youngest players on the floor while competing against veteran talent. She’s effective from three and shoots with confidence, but she’s more than just a perimeter threat. Her ability to create for others stands out as well, including a no-look, one-handed pass that is just fun to watch.

Keep an eye on Tyanna at West this season. She’ll be joining a roster that could be loaded with talent, allowing her to contribute without having to carry the entire load. If she continues playing with the same confidence and creativity we’ve already seen, she could become an important piece for a West team ready to make some waves.

There is no age or timeline for when a player should start working to elevate her game, and Tyanna is a great example of getting an early start. She still hasn’t had the opportunity to show what she can do on the high school floor, but she’s already putting in the work to prepare for that moment. Between her time training at The Training Zone and the work she’s putting in on her own, Tyanna is building a foundation that should allow her to make an impact at West this season.

Tyanna plays with a calm confidence, never looking rushed or out of control. She stays composed under pressure and does a great job turning a shot into a quick pass when needed, delivering it cleanly and on time.

At the same time, she’s a threat from the perimeter—give her space, and she’ll make you pay from three.

As a combo guard with the ability to both score and handle the ball, Tyanna controls the tempo of the game with confidence and composure. She runs the offense at a strong pace, keeping teammates involved while still being a threat to score when the opportunity presents itself.

This summer, she’ll be running with Prospects, where her skill set should translate immediately against high-level competition. With her ability to manage the floor and create offense, she’s poised to make an impact even before she officially steps onto the high school court.
