Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a player, I deeply understand the game and the importance of movement on the court. I like to create on-ball and off-ball movement on the court. Through that movement, opportunities are made to allow me and my teammates to get open drives and shots. I consider defense to be my strength.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a very mature 15-year-old who have a very strong work ethics. I know that nothing is given and that I have to work hard for what I want, which is what I always do.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Outside of basketball, I participate in many clubs like LatinX Affinity Group, Latino Student Union, Sweets for Smiles, and Peer2Peer. I just recently participated in a Newark Covenant house sleep-out which helps youth facing homelessness find shelter and loving care.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Leadership, teamwork, participated in many volunteer opportunities through school and the community. Helped out at my town's recreational center during a winter basketball clinic during the winter months.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
During my first year in high school, there was a lot of drama going on in the basketball team that I wasn't comfortable with. I escalated the situation to the assistant coach on behalf of the entire team because no one else wanted to do it. From that conversation things got addressed and the environment, team chemistry got better.
What type of college are you looking for?
Tuft University, Lafayette College, Duke University, Lehigh University etc.
