Valerie Campos has steadily progressed over her high school career so far and she is ready to make a statement this Winter at Fremont High School. You could tell that Campos was motivated to put on a good showing at this event and she accomplished that. She played her role to a T whenever plausible but she also took some chances. When she saw a hole within the defense she did whatever she could to exploit that, whether that be the with the pass or her own cutting action. Defensively, she locked up whoever was closest to her and demonstrated that she can get a stop for her team when it’s needed the most at the end of a contest. Campos should get some chances to keep things happening within her basketball career following high school. She does too many good things for that to not be the case so for right now she just needs to keep it rolling.
