Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a fast paced, head up guard who uses my high game IQ to advance the ball. I take pride in my tight defense abilities to lock down high intensity players and I have a knack for performing under pressure and love a good challenge. Basketball is a team sport and I will perform my best for my teammates and use my leadership skills to bring my team together to win!
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am fun and easygoing, but I take my basketball very serious. I have fun but am focused and competitive out on the court. Energetic is another perfect word to describe me, I love being on the move always looking for activities to do on and off the court.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Honor roll every year. I received outstanding Math SAT proficiency award in 8th grade.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I attended PGC camps where leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork are the building blocks of the program. Not only for basketball but for life in general. I have taken multiple opportunities to help our underclassman during school hours during read-a-thons, field day, class trips and being a bus buddy to help kids get to their bus.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
There are times where everyone may not get along on a team/classroom. I take pride in being able to put my emotions aside when it comes down to the end goal. It may be in basketball or even in the classroom setting. Sometimes people don’t mesh well or personalities collide, but the key to success is finding a way to work together when it matters most.
What type of college are you looking for?
One that isn’t too far from home. Family is very important to me. Academics are my obvious driving point to help me succeed into adulthood, but a great basketball program is also a key factor.
