The senior guard closed out the regular season with 25 points in just three quarters. She showed off her mid-range game as well as the ability to finish in the paint with either hand. She was too strong for the opposing guards and got to her spots easily.

When she gets going, Ballard is as good as there is in the state. She has a compact release and can get the ball off very quickly. Her ballhandling ability allows her to create space and get the shot off over most point guards.

Ballard seemed to have an answer every time Hamilton got close. She hit multiple perimeter shots in the 2nd half to stop runs. She played very tough defense throughout the game, making ballhandlers uncomfortable all game long. She also rebounded very well from her guard position.
