About Yahri
Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Yahri would anchor my starting five at the four spot. She brings energy, length, and athleticism to the frontcourt. She blocks shots with great timing and elevation by using her hops and length to protect the rim and alter shot attempts. Yahri plays with good energy and presence, made even more intimidating by the mask she wears. Offensively, she showed touch with a nice fadeaway jumper and flashed serious bunnies when finishing, rebounding, and contesting above the rim.

There are some really talented 27’s/28’s in this classification, but I have to give the edge to the Senior. Yahri’s size, length, and athleticism make her so dynamic. She’s a double-double machine that controls the paint and elevates so quickly. Between her and

plays with confidence, swagger, and relentless effort on every single play. She is a natural leader on the floor—both vocally and through her actions. Tyler embraces physical play; against bigger opponents, she uses her athleticism to outjump and outwork them, while smaller matchups struggle to handle her strength and quickness.
Tyler is an exciting player to watch and will only continue to get better the more she plays.

has the “It” factor that can’t be taught. From the moment she steps on the floor, she draws attention with her presence, her poise, and her undeniable athleticism. At UNF, she made an athletic finish look routine—twisting midair to score. “It” was the full sequence that told the story: directing teammates into position, scoring with flair, and helping an opponent off the floor. Tyler dominates in the paint, rising above bigger post players and finishing through traffic. She’s explosive in the paint and smooth in transition which defines her versatility. Averaging 19.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game, she’s a walking double-double—but the numbers only tell half the story. What sets her apart is how she carries herself. She plays with passion and skill, leads with humility, and makes the game look natural. In other words,

was a standout at the UNF Team camp and possibly the most athletic player in the building. One of the most impressive aspects of Tyler’s game is her ability to handle the ball on the perimeter and attack the defense. At the UNF camp, she put the defense in a bind several often and consistently put the ball in the rim. On several occasions, she put the defense in a bind with her ability to pass the ball. Tyler made plays at the rim, with the pass, on the boards, and in transition. Her choice was an easy one. Tyler is a difference maker. is another prospect to see this travel season. Some of the things she does in the air is unreal. Tyler can hang in the air when going to the rim, or simply can jump out of the gym. At a recent showcase, Tyler was a standout player. She was explosive to the rim, and showcased a sweet turn-around jumper – both with elevation. Tyler averaged 14.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per game as a Freshman and 19.7 points and 11.7 rebounds her Junior season. Her game is predicated on her athleticism, her “hops,” and her ability to put the ball in the basket.

was one of the most impressive prospects in the building. Tyler’s athleticism just jumps off the page. She is a force anywhere close to the basket. Her athleticism shows up on the offensive glass. Her ability to track the ball and get off the ground quickly allows her to excel on the boards. Offensively, Tyler can get to the basket in a straight line and also with the ability to put a move on a defender. One move at the Showcase that comes to mind was a baseline move and spin to the rim after the baseline was cutoff. Tyler has the ability to make plays that not many can make. At the showcase, she made plays all over the place. People in the room paid attention and Tyler was noticed. She is going to be a player to watch this travel season.

had an outstanding performance on December 13th against North Port, scoring an impressive 21 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. She achieved this while shooting 54% from the field and going 7-for-13 from the free-throw line, demonstrating her efficiency around the rim and her ability to draw fouls and capitalize at the line.
Yahri is currently averaging a double-double this season, with 19.2 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. The forward excels at securing rebounds at the highest point and immediately going back up strong. She also has the ability to take defenders off the dribble and finish creatively around the rim off two feet. Additionally, her consistent mid-range shooting makes her a tough matchup for opponents.
This season is shaping up to be Yahri’s best statistical year yet.
