YaYa Murphy YaYa Murphy 5'3" | PG/SG Killeen Chaparral | 2029 TX is a quick, explosive point guard who brings energy, pressure, and playmaking ability every time she steps on the floor. She plays with confidence and pace, showing the ability to control tempo while still being aggressive attacking the defense.

Offensively, Murphy is at her best when she’s getting downhill and putting pressure on defenders. She uses her quickness and athleticism to create space, while also showing solid court vision to find teammates for easy scoring opportunities. She’s capable of finishing around the rim and making plays in transition, keeping defenses on their heels.

Defensively, she’s a true disruptor. Murphy applies strong on-ball pressure, using her speed and anticipation to force turnovers, jump passing lanes, and create chaos. Her ability to speed up the game gives her team an edge and often leads to easy transition points.

What stands out most is her motor and impact. She plays hard, competes every possession, and brings a level of intensity that can shift momentum quickly.

Murphy laid down the LAW on both ends, and seeing her doing a good using her athleticism on offense and defense was a plus. Her acrobatic finishes, as well as solid court vision, looked good, yet her “on the ball” pressure helped create havoc which led to turnovers

YaYa is a steady guard. She shoots the ball well from beyond the arc, getting her points off the catch and off the dribble. While Murphy is a well-rounded scorer, she is also a trustworthy playmaker. YaYa sees the floor when managing pressure defense. At her best, Murphy is filling up box scores with productivity whenever the ball is in her hands.
