Well, let’s just say the secret is out about this point guard from Kalamazoo Central. Using no hyperbolic speech, Yazmyne could not miss at the MBA Mother’s Day Classic. She drained a smooth triple off the bounce and added three more triples up top during the game I watched. Yazmyne cut backdoor for a bucket, crossed over a defender to score a contested layup, and finished in traffic. She caught a pass in transition, took the ball towards the basket in top gear, and went straight at the defender for a fearless finish. Yazmyne has an accurate perimeter jumper, drives hard through contact to finish in the paint, creates space off the dribble, and knocks down free throws. She’s a talented prospect from the Strictly Skills 17U program.

Yazmyne contributed in multiple ways to help Team 5 succeed at the PGH Expo. She shot the ball confidently from beyond the arc, had good passing instincts, and facilitated the ball effectively on offense. Yazmyne sees the floor and has good court awareness. She handles the ball confidently with both hands and makes the hustle plays.

Yazmyne had a great day for Team 2 at The Expo. She is a poised point guard who doesn’t force things and lets the game come to her. She made some nice passes in transition. When the ball wasn’t in her hands, she ran the floor hard and scored in transition. She has a smooth outside shot and knocked down a couple of 3-pointers.

had a great showing at the Headliners Invitational! It doesn’t take anyone long to notice while watching Morales play that she takes great pride on the defensive end of the court. She is so scrappy and plays some great pressure defense. Despite being one of the smallest players on the court, she managed to grab multiple offensive rebounds for put-backs. I’m excited to watch her for the next four years!

was one of the most aggressive on-ball defenders on the court Sunday. She applied full court pressure and used her long arms to make steals and deflections. Yazmyne’s pressure in the backcourt caused havoc and she finished her steals at the rim with layups and earned assists as well.
