Blast off. This kid had a coming-out party during the state tournament. She put everyone on notice about what’s going to happen over the next couple of years. This athletic guard is a solid two-way player who plays with a lot of energy and effort. She is solid on the offensive end, where she can knock down shots from multiple spots on the floor and get to the rim. However, it’s her defense that stands out in the way she creates tons of chaos when she is on the floor. She creates steals and loose-ball opportunities. She has great positioning where she keeps her opponent in front of her, locking her down throughout the game. This young lady is going to be a problem for years to come, and it’s going to be fun to watch the process unfold. Keep tabs on this young lady because she is just getting started.

 It is only fitting that her last name correlates kind of with speed and quickness. Z utilizes it as her strength especially as she puts the clamps on people defensively. She is a heady PG who reads and reacts well. Her calling is defense, where she makes her money. She can score from multiple spots on the floor, but the D is her thing for sure. Time and time again throughout the tournament, it was her who led the charge and swung the momentum. She set the tone, has established a standard, and really help uplift her ball club in creating an identity. She is a solid athlete who is going to get even better.

Had a tremendous game where she was feeling it from the floor. She was the aggressor as she was a downhill threat to the opposition. Zahnyah finished with 20 points, 2 assists, and 5 steals. Talk about someone who was active, she utilized her speed and quickness to create havoc on the defensive end. This was her coming-out party, and everyone took notice as she battled on the floor. She was the X factor for her ball club. Look for her to take this success into next season. A very talented guard whose stock is on the rise for sure.

Zahnyah is extremely quick! One of the first things that stood out to me was her active hands and quick movements on defense. She does a great job of staying in front of her opponents and pressuring any ball handler! Offensively, she is good at attacking the gaps and finishing at the rim. Webb drilled in numerous outside shots against Chattanooga Christian and Rockett was right in the mix nailing those outside shots!
