Benish is putting up right over 30.5 PPG at this moment in time, while also helping her team to an overall positive record. Coming off of a Volleyball season to remember, Benish is using that momentum to put together one incredible season in the numbers department. A season that would go down in the history books if she continues on this past for the rest of her Senior year.

Coming off of an impressive Varsity Volleyball season, Zaili Benish Zaili Benish 5'5" | SG Leyton | 2025 State NE has stepped on the floor this Winter for her Varsity Basketball team, absolutely killing it in every sense of the phrase. Benish is averaging just under 30 PPG in her team’s 6-0 start to the season. This is a player that would be described as a play-maker on both sides of the ball but definitely on offense. With her 29 PPG average, she is doing this at a 54% shooting rate, including being a hot 81% from the charity stripe. Benish has always been a top ranking prospect out of her 2025 Class up until this point and with this current production, that’s not going to change any time soon.

Whenever we have heard about Leyton High School the past few years, we have heard about their SG/PG – Zaili Benish Zaili Benish 5'5" | SG Leyton | 2025 State NE . Benish made over 77 three point attempts on just over 41% shooting during her 2023-2024 high school campaign, ranking her in the Top 10 in the state for three pointers made and three point percentage with at least over 100 attempts. Benish really does a little bit of everything from an offensive standpoint. I wouldn’t say she is ONLY a catch and shoot player but it’s definitely waters that she is more comfortable in. This Winter she will return with revenge on her mind for her Senior season. Her goal is going to be to go out and make it the best season of her basketball career. An objective that is more than possible at this point.

Zaili Benish Zaili Benish 5'5" | SG Leyton | 2025 State NE is a prospect that has moved up and down the past couple of Updates for the 2025 Class but no matter where she has been placed, each time she has been ranked within the Top 50 and that speaks to how solid she has been at the Varsity level over the years. Banish is a 5’5 SG, that can light it up in a hurry. She is uncommitted going into her Senior season at Leyton High School with not a lot of offers at this point in her journey. This isn’t going to deter her efforts though. This is someone that is explosive in her movements and she has been consistent in her production, especially on the offensive side of the ball. With the right guidance, she could become even better but at this point in the game, I’m not sure what she is going to end up doing just yet at the end of the day. Whatever it is though, I’m sure she is going to kill it.

Zaili Benish Zaili Benish 5'5" | SG Leyton | 2025 State NE comes in right around 5’5 and she is someone that is a determined scoring guard from all aspects. Benish is someone that can get down the court in a hurry with her fast bursts of speed or she can line up around the three point line and kick down shots at a high rate off of the catch. You can tell that she is at her most comfortable when she is able to lead her team’s offense and look for scoring opportunities on that side of the ball. Defensively, her impressive speeds and quick hands lead to a lot of steals and buckets for her team in transition. Benish has been a leader for her Leyton team for three years up until this point and I’m sure she will cap it off with another productive season ahead.
