Her first step was deadly, and once she got a shoulder past her defender, it was a bucket waiting to happen. She finished with power and flair. King also rebounded well from the guard position, and once she got the ball, she was on the attack. She was special in transition, smooth in the midrange, and played with an edge that made her unstoppable when locked in. Last season, she averaged 19.4 points per game, and while she knocked down 34 threes for the season, the majority of her scoring came from the midrange area and in transition. At the Expo, King was one of the few players in the building who could take over a game purely through aggression, skill, and willpower.

She attacked defenders off the dribble with confidence and an elite first step. King was crafty and had great body control to get to the rim. Her pull-up jumper was sharp and consistent, and she had the ability to score over defenders in traffic. King had a lot of bounce which enabled her to rebound aggressively from the guard spot. She had the ability to grab it and go. King was a fierce competitor who wanted the ball in big moments. Her blend of explosiveness, speed, and fearlessness made her clearly one of the top prospects and purest scorers in the building.
