About Zanahla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Smart and selfless facilitator with a high basketball IQ, excellent shooting skills, and the ability to create opportunities for my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a competitive player who works hard and stays focused. I’m coachable and team-oriented. I strive to lead by example while looking for ways to improve and help my team succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Im a member of first Baptist Church in Charlottesville, Virginia

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have had the opportunity to speak at my school’s chapel, sharing meaningful messages with my peers, and I volunteer as a preschool teacher.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I tore my ACL this summer while playing basketball and am fully committed to my recovery. I’m working hard to come back stronger and more determined than ever.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with a strong basketball program, a family-oriented environment, and support to help me develop skills for a career.

Unfortunately she suffered an ACL injury that will keep her out the high school season but she may be back in time for the AAU season next year.
