The former district MVP came on strong at the end of the season, and should be back to her former ways for her senior year. She has high level athleticism and strength. Offensively, is really dangerous once her shoulders get past the initial defender. High level scorer in the paint. Still developing a shooter, but has come a long way. Really good defender that can guard multiple positions. Great rebounder.

While TNFS was short handed in LP2, Stewart game to play. She’s one of the better penetrators I’ve seen as far as her unique mixture of quickness, strength, agility and willing to initiate contact. While most players shy away from contact when attacking the rim, the fact of the matter is, it’s generally not good ball. The first first to initiate contact (without fouling) is generally going to win the battle, and Stewart attacks the rim with real aggression. And when she is allowed to get to her right hand, it’s and automatic bucket.

I watched her play for TNFS ’25 vs TN SOL ’25, and she looked terrific. When she gets downhill to her right hand, she’s nearly unstoppable. She knows how to use her power and strength to create scoring angles at the rim that others just can’t produce. She’s primed for a huge senior year.

vs TN SOL
Does a great job attacking the rim with power and force. She like a running back when she gets headed downhill. Got to the hole at will. Really shifty, proving it with a tough spin and finish in the 2nd half. Followed that up with a power finish “and 1.” Elite at getting to the rim. If she could add the 3 ball to her game, she’s level up.

Was solid all weekend for BMaze U17 Black. The Alcoa product really shined against ETA as she went off for 19 in a dominating win. Stewart is a proven scorer but other aspects of her game have really improved over the last year. Did a great job this weekend simply letting the game come to her, and not forcing the issue. She’s an instinctual scorer with a growing skill skill set. Can get buckets from all over the floor.

Stewart averaged 15.4 points, five rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game. She was the District 3-4A MVP. She was the best player on the court most nights. Ton of fun to watch.

Stewart was a force all weekend! She can beat you off the dribble and she makes finishing at the rim look easy! Ze’Yana plays great defense and can easily score in transition. Stewart was Co-MVP for a reason! She knows exactly how to use her strength and power to get to the rim.
