Timberland was the only 2A team on hand for this year’s She Got Next Christmas Classic. The Wolves, who entered Saturday’s play with an 8-3 record may have suffered defeat at the hands of 5A Division 1 J.L. Mann but Prioleau did everything she could for her team with 14 points. Early on, Prioleau made her presence known by getting out in transition and delivering strong finishes at the basket. As the contest wore on, she managed to connect on running floaters and also drained the lone 3-pointer of the game for the Wolves. Prioleau is one of five seniors on this year’s Timberland squad.

We meant to mention this offer in one of our earlier updates, but a collegiate offer was extended in the direction of a standout senior from 2A Timberland. Early last month, Prioleau secured an offer from Denmark Tech and its coach Javon Gilliard. Prioleau led the Wolves to a 15-11 record and a 9-2 mark in Region 6-AA last season. She is used to wearing green uniforms as she also wore the green SC Future 17U uniform for her final go-round through the AAU realm. In 2024-25, Prioleau led Timberland in points and assists, averaging 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 steals in the 23 games she wore Wolves green and orange.

In the last few seasons, Prioleau has been one of the focal points of all things 2A Timberland. She is about to begin her junior season with the Wolves and will fuse together the talent she has amassed with experience. Prioleau displays her confidence in calling for the ball whenever she feels she can make a play. And a good number of those offensive plays can be 3-pointers. Athleticism and versatility with an ability play at a variety of positions are other qualities that make Prioleau one of the more intriguing prospects throughout the Carolinas. With two of the Wolves’ star seniors from the 2022-23 rendition having graduated, one can expect the sophomore Prioleau to be the focal point of all things Timberland for the next several seasons. There are reasons to believe that building around Prioleau could work wonders for the green and orange. Prioleau understands the art of anticipating passes and places a bunch of emphasis on taking care of the ball to limit turnovers. She also understands when to score and when to pass and can also be counted on to corral her fair share of rebounds. Accuracy from behind the 3-point line is another of her strong points and she knows how to turn iso situations into productive possessions for her team.
