About Zion

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Dynamic two-way guard with excellent ball-handling, the ability to attack left or right, finish through contact, knock down three-pointers, create turnovers defensively, and use elite court vision to deliver assist-generating passes.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a fierce competitor who leads through actions, not words. When locked in, I can take over a game offensively or defensively, create momentum-changing plays, and elevate my teammates. Coaches describe me as a 'dog' because of my toughness, grit, and relentless effort.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a multi-sport athlete and a dedicated student who values leadership and service. During my freshman year, I earned Honor Roll recognition in all four quarters. I am actively involved in Top Teens of America, where I participate in community service and social initiatives, and I serve in the Student Government Association at East High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My experiences in sports, Student Government, and Top Teens of America have helped me develop leadership, teamwork, communication, discipline, and community service skills. They have taught me how to lead by example, work with others toward a common goal, and make a positive impact both on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I fractured my hip during my first AAU game before my freshman year, which caused me to miss the spring and summer seasons while recovering through physical therapy. Returning to the court was challenging both physically and mentally, especially on defense where the injury occurred. The experience taught me resilience, patience, and perseverance.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers strong academics, a competitive basketball program, and a supportive environment. I want a place where I can grow as a student-athlete, develop my leadership skills, and prepare for success both on and off the court.
