The best way to describe Jones’ game is simply a “basketball player.” The 5-foot-10 guard/wing has the positional size, basketball IQ and dribble, pass and shoot skill-set to create offense for herself and teammates in transition and half-court offense. The freshman at Mira Costa consistently made the right play, was rarely sped up and showed off her two-way versatility. Jones’ offensive package is complete with three-point and mid-range touch along with the ability to get to the rim.
