There were few more crafty guards in the gym than Yeh who used her changes of speed and direction and elite interior footwork to get into the lane, get defenders out of position and score with touch off the glass. Yeh spun her way through the paint for scooped left-handed layups and utilized an effective shot-fake to get by her defender to score with a floater or pull-up jumper. One of the more underrated parts of her game is her ability to use her strength to post up and score over or through smaller defenders. Yeh, a natural left-hander, also showed impressive right hand finishing ability.

The dynamic combo guard from Mira Costa put her full offensive arsenal on display throughout the week. She showcased a refined scoring package, attacking defenses from all areas of the floor with creativity and confidence. Opponents threw length and quickness at her in an effort to slow her down, but she consistently created separation using sharp step-backs, crafty crossovers, and well-timed spin moves. She knocked down tough, contested shots from every level to keep her team competitive. Her shifty handle and offensive toughness stood out and should serve her well as she draws increased defensive attention throughout the season.

Kylee Yeh led all teams at the Battle for the Beach Tournament at Redondo Union averaging 23.5PT per game while having a career night vs St Anthony, Scoring 32pts, 7 Rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals. She was voted on the All Tournament team.

Yeh is ranked in the top 10 for her position in the class of 2027. She returns for her sophomore season to a win-worthy team. Mira Costa finished 24-6 on the season and 2nd in the Bay League. Yeh will have to prove herself with an extremely young team as all 23-24 players return this season.
