knows how to use her height and quick feet to be effective in the paint. She keeps her opponent right where she wants them when they’re trying to work against her to score some points as she moves with them using her hands to block the shot easily. She reads her defenders well knowing exactly what post move to use on the other end when she’s scoring her own points.

There was a reason as to why we featured Rector in one of our Versatile Playmakers articles recapping this year’s Carolinas Expo. The Hibriten standout stands nearly at six feet and was part of a 2023-24 Panthers rendition that finished with a 19-9 record. At 5-foot-11, one can expect that rebounding would be one of the strong points of her game – and it is including on the offensive glass. Rector will keep defenses guessing. Since she has such a height advantage over much of her competition, one can expect her to primarily play near the rim, but Rector also displays impressive rim attacking capabilities.

was showing some versatility on the court being able to put up her shot from deep and defend a post player on the block. She attacked the basket well herself getting to the rim showing off a nice spin move. She rebounds well on both ends of the court.

had double digits in points attacking the basket and finding the openings. She hustled after loose balls knowing how to gain the possession and she was an asset inside grabbing rebounds for her team. She certainly showed how to effectively box out her opponents.
