On the first Monday in September, the nation celebrates Labor Day. This holiday celebrates the achievements, and contributions that workers have made to the betterment of the country. It's a perfect day to look at prep basketball players that have been hard at work. These athletes have been in the gym improving as an individual and making their teams better.

Blackwell is an excellent shooter who just keeps getting better. She has established herself as one of the best shooters in the class of 2019. Blackwell is consistent with her shot and never seems to have an off game. This spring, she showed the ability to attack the basket as well.

Grant isn't just in the gym a lot. When she's there, she sets goals and targets improvements. Most importantly, Grant makes the improvements happen with disciplined training. She's incredibly versatile as a player, showing the ability to play and defend multiple positions.

Jackson might be the best 1-on-1 player in the country, and that doesn't happen without countless number of hours in the gym. She has incredible body control when attacking the basket and finishing at the rim. Jackson is active around the rim and is an elite rebounder.

McArthur has a reputation for being a gym rat. She's a hustle player who will be the first to hit the floor for a loose ball. McArthur seems to always step up in big games. She's a gutsy defender who plays a physical and in your face style.

There is nobody that will outwork Sollom. She is simply a monster on the block. If Sollom gets the ball clean in the paint - good luck to her defender. She is excellent defensively, using her size and length to alter shots. Sollom showed the ability to step out and hit the three pointer this summer.
