Cedar Rapids Jefferson (1-19)

Waukee
Waukee has been on a roll as of late and are playing really good basketball. They are on a seven game win streak and only one of those wins wasn't a double-digit game. Waukee is scoring 71.0 points a game and are only allowing 40 points a game. They lead the region in assists, steals, blocks, turnovers, rebounds, etc. They lead in every category but free throws attempted and made. Paitlyn Rau, a senior, leads the team in scoring at 14.7 points a game.
The Sleeper
Iowa City West
Iowa City West has the least amount of losses in the region, but they have also played the fewest amount of games. They are scoring 64.0 points a game and are getting to the line at an enormous rate. They shoot 44.4 percent from the floor and make 30 percent of their 3-pointers. This is a team that definitely can throw a wrench into Waukee's plans. Audrey Koch, a sophomore, leads the team with 15.5 points a game.
The Outside Shot
Linn-Mar
They only score 49.3 points a game as they really look to slow down the pace of the game. On the season they are actually being outscored, so with that I don't think they will be much of a threat to the top two teams in the region. They have lost to Iowa City West twice this year by 16 points each time. Senior Macey Miller leads the team as she is scoring 11.2 points a game.
