On a night where we celebrated the top players in the Class of 2020, 2021, and 2022 in the Miami Valley, a few specific names caught my attention and impressed me with their wide skillsets. Below are the 6 most impressive players I watched from the showcase.

Nyla Hampton (2020)- Nyla impressed me with her scoring ability from beyond the arc. Excelling in catch and shoot situations, Hampton was able to get her feet set and made some good shot with a few being contested. She was able to get in the lane as well with a quick crossover and found some success doing so.
Allie Stefanek (2020)- Another great point guard on display at Edison State Wednesday, Allie demonstrated the skill set of an elite point guard. Distributing the ball well, Allie found teammates with ease, especially while running the fast break. She possesses great court vision, looking to pass the ball before scoring herself. Allie not only made a mark on the offensive end but was all over the floor defensively. She jumped passing lanes and had great footwork.
Maddie Downing (2020)- Maddie impressed me specifically with her low post offensive skill. One of the best post players all evening, Downing knows how to use her body in the paint. She powers through defenders and creates space. When facing stiff defense, Maddie is able to power through and finish through traffic. I was impressed with her ability to use both hands in the paint as well.
Kendall Folley (2021)- A patient young point guard, Kendall has a ton of speed but possesses the patience to slow the game down when needed. Kendall makes smart decisions, not making risky passes and playing strong with the basketball. On the fast break, her head was up looking to advance the ball instead of settling for out dribbling the opposing team.
Mallory Mullen (2022)- Mallory was the most impressive 2022 prospect I saw on Wednesday. She played like an upperclassmen with her ability to play through traffic. A dynamic rebounder on the defensive end, Mallory hustles which is what I especially liked watching her play. She can finish in the paint with plenty of traffic, which is where she got most of her points.
Quantaijah Huffman (2021)- The most athletic prospect on display, Huffman impressed me with her ability to outrebound even the tallest post players. Offensively, she beat a few defenders off the dribble and finished strong through traffic. I liked her on-ball defense as she possessed great footwork and created chaos.
