With the season over, it's time to break down the Kentucky All-State Teams. These teams are presented in no order and should not be considered the same as class rankings. Here's a look at the top players in the Junior class:

Maddie Scherr, Ryle - The favorite for next season's Miss Basketball, Scherr led the Lady Raiders to a state title. 15 points and 7 rebounds per game is a good stat line but doesn't tell the full story of Scherr's impact on all parts of the game.

T'Aziah Jenks, Mercy - One of the best college prospects in the class, Jenks is a really good player who is only going to keep getting better. T'Aziah is a good two way player that should average a double-double next season after putting up 18 points and 8 rebounds per game as a Junior.

Whitney Hay, Elizabethtown - One of the best scorers in the state, Hay is a big time inside-out threat who can score on the drive or catch and shoot at over 40%. One a less talented team, Whitney could average over 30 points per game and still not look selfish because she's such an efficient scorer.

Malea Williams, Scott County - Williams has perhaps the most potential of any player in the class because of her combination of size and skill. Malea will need to step into a bigger role next season for the Lady Cards to avoid falling off but she is more than capable.

Kendall Wingler, Meade County - One of the top scorers in the state this year, we featured Wingler earlier this week as a player whose recruitment could pick up this summer. This year Kendall put up 26 points and 8 rebounds per contest and is capable of multiple triple doubles next year.

Kennedy Igo, George Rogers Clark

Shelby Calhoun, Christian Academy of Louisville

Ally Collett, South Laurel

Charlee Settle, Calloway County

Regi Cundiff, Southwestern

Third Team:

Kristen Clemons, Sacred Heart

Hannah McKay, Owensboro Catholic

Channing Lewis, Mercer County
