3 Players to Watch this summer: Anna Long is a player who really displayed a lot of skills at their Program Day, and will be heavily counted on this coming season. She played a ton as a freshman in high school, and has really grown with her game. She does a great job handling the ball, can score and talks being a great communicator with her teammates. Also a strong defender and her all-around game is much better than it was last summer. Macie Taylor is another player who shined as a freshman, and will play the point guard spot with this group. Not only can she handle the ball well, but she can also shoot the three extremely well and is very creative to get her shot off. Physically strong player who will mix it up with the bigs in the paint and can attack the basket. A third player to keep an eye on this summer will be Maci Rhoades. Always been a good shooter, good defensive player, long and rebounds well. Can score and looks to shine with this talented group of players. She will have a bright future, and another of her strengths that she hopes to showcase this summer is her ability to shoot the three.
2 Sleepers: Claire Henson is a player who came into her own playing as a key freshman on a high school team who advanced to the regionals. Claire hasn’t played on this stage yet. Very athletic, long and can finish at the rim. Also a player who has good range with a good shot. This will be a good opportunity for her to step onto the big stage in front of college coaches this summer. Molly Scott is the tallest player on this squad, and at 6-foot, will be counted on to control the paint and rebounds. She has developed and grown her game the last couple of years, runs the floor very well for her size and may be a strong post on the travel ball circuit this summer.
