On Friday night, Pickerington Central defeated Toledo Notre Dame Academy 52-42. The Tigers got out early and never looked back, despite NDA comeback attempt.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
Pick Central will have a chance at their EIGHTH State Championship, Saturday night against Mt. Notre Dame.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

<h2>Players To Be Recognized:</h2>
• Madison Greene ( G / 5’7” 2019 / Pickerington Central): The lead guard for Pick Central is a flat out competitor. With 14 points, Madison showed the ability to fly through the lane and finish. Also sometimes through contact, that must be noted. Nabbing three steals, she and her team was off and running on multiple occasions. The Penn State signee plays as tough as it gets.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
• Jada Tate ( Post / 6’0” 2019 / Pickerington Central): Jada Tate was a force inside for the Tigers. A quick instinct to block shots, Jada Tate tallied three blocks. Also, scoring 11 points, Tate was found underneath often for easy lay ins. Setting screens is a strength to note as well.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
• Maliya Perry ( W / 6’0” 2019 / Pickerington Central): With solid length on the wing, Maliya Perry has the ability to defend multiple positions. A three-level scorer, had 11 points for the Tigers. Able to dish it off the drive, with solid vision as well. Perry handles the ball well, giving the Lady Tigers another ball handling option.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
• Grace VanSlooten ( W / 2022 / Toledo Notre Dame Academy): The freshman was the best player on the court at times. With good length, VanSlooten uses her size to her advantage to get up and over defenders inside. A good set shooter, that can already score it from all levels. Just a freshman, she led NDA with 15 big points. Also, a solid defender that has shot blocking ability. However, only a freshman, definitely a player to watch.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
