Let’s take a look at the PGH All-Ohio teams for the Class of 2021.
Player of the Year:
Shyanne Sellers – 6’1 Guard – Aurora
Shyanne Sellers (pictured above) – showed everyone in Ohio why she is one of the nation’s top recruits in the Class of 2021. While leading her team to a 24-2 record, Sellers averaged 21.0 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 3 APG and 3 SPG. The only sophomore who was named to the DI All-Ohio First Team by the OPSWA, Sellers was Suburban League American Conference Player of the Year.
1st Team:
Madison Royal-Davis has started her HS career with 2 state championships at Toledo Rogers. (Photo Credit: Toledo Blade)Madison Royal-Davis – 5’10 Guard – Toledo Rogers
Madison has already scored her 1000th career point and was a key contributor on the Toledo Rogers state championship teams in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019. After earning 2nd Team All-Ohio honors during her freshman season, Royal-Davis was named to the OPSWA DII First Team this year. She averaged nearly 18 points and 7 rebounds a game for the Rams, who won the City League and finished with a 27-2 overall record.
MaKayla Elmore – 6’3 Post – Hopewell Loudon
Elmore was named a DIV First Team All-Ohioan by the OPSWA after a season in which she averaged 21.3 points and 12 rebounds per game. The Northwest District Player of the Year was also named MVP of the Classic in the Country by the Ohio Sports Ticket after showcasing her jaw-dropping athleticism that includes the length of the best post players and the playmaking ability of top guards.
Ivy Wolf – 5’8 Guard – Minster
Minster has won back-to-back small school state championships in Ohio and one of the largest reasons for their success is the emergence of Wolf. The star PG, who plays her best in big games, averaged 16.8 PPG this year on her way to being named DIV 1st Team All-Ohio by the OPSWA. The Player of the Year in the Midwest Athletic Conference also added 3 assists per night.

One of Ohio’s top guards – regardless of class – Hall averaged 12.5 PPG for Wayne. The 1st Team Greater Western Conference and 3rd Team Northwest District selection is known for her size and athleticism. Hall is a tremendous defender who also added 5.3 RPG, 2 APG, and 1.3 SPG. She has a number of offers from the nation’s top college programs.
Zoe Miller – 5’11 Post – Berlin Hiland
Hiland’s leading scorer at over 16 PPG, Miller is constantly attacking defenses and getting to the FT line. She averaged over 8 RPG for the Hawks and is equally as impressive on the O boards as she is on the defensive end. The Player of the Year in the Eastern District and the Inter-Valley Conference, Zoe was named to the DIII All-Ohio 1st Team by the OPSWA.
2nd Team:
Morgan Bentley – 5’10 Forward – Vinton County
Bentley led her team to a Tri-Valley Conference championship with a perfect record in league play. Her efforts earned her the TVC Player of the Year award, as well as 1st Team Southeastern District and 2nd Team DII All-Ohio honors. Morgan averaged 17.1 PPG this season, while also putting up a number of double-digit rebounding games.

Maysville’s outstanding combo guard was named District 12 and Muskingum Valley League Player of the Year. She averaged 17.4 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 2.5 APG and 3.4 SPG – leading her team to a 19-6 overall (13-3 in league) record. After earning All-State honors as a freshman last year, Smith was named 2nd Team All-Ohio in DII by the OPSWA, as well as 1st Team Eastern District.
Karli Anker – 5’7 Guard – Akron Manchester
Karli earned All-Ohio honors for the second season in a row, as the OPSWA named her to the DIII 3rd Team. She was a 1st Team selection by the Principal’s Athletic Conference and the Tri-County Coaches Association. The Point Guard is absolutely dynamic in the pick-and-roll, finishing with season averages of 19 PPG, 4.2 APG, 7 RPG and 4.1 SPG. She had a number of high-scoring outings, including 34 against state-ranked (at the time) Orrville.
Jacey Justice – 5’8 Guard – Peebles
Justice – who comes from a family of scorers – is a true scoring guard, finishing the year with an average of 23.5 PPG. She added 3.9 RPG, 4.1 APG and also showed her special defensive prowess by tacking on 4.6 SPG. She was named to the DIV ALL-Ohio 2nd Team by the OPSWA and also earned 1st Team District 12 honors.
Mickayla Perdue – 5’9 Guard – Springfield
Perdue was outstanding this year – leading the entire Greater Western Ohio Conference in scoring at 21.4 PPG. She shot 46% from the field, 40% from 3 and 77% from the FT line, while also averaging 5.3 RPG, 3.9 APG and 5.3 SPG. The DI recruit had 28 against Fairmont, 22 against Beavercreek, 30 against Miamisburg, 37 against Fairborn and 45 against Bellefontaine.
3rd Team:

Weaver is a big-time college prospect who can score in bunches. After losing McDonald’s All-American Valencia Myers (currently at Florida State) to graduation – Hailey picked up the slack for Solon, averaging 15 PPG this year on her way to being named a DI 3rd Team All-Ohio by the OPSWA. Her total floor-game helped lead the comets to the outright Greater Cleveland Conference championship.
Danielle Vuletich – 6’2 Post – Berlin Center Western Reserve
Vuletich had an outstanding sophomore year, as she led her team to Ohio’s “Sweet 16”. She was a Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference 1st team selection who also earned 2nd Team All-Ohio status in DIV from the OPSWA. Danielle averaged nearly 21 PPG and showed her length and athleticism as she was a force around the rim on both sides of the ball.
Kenzie McConnell – 6’0 Post – Circleville
Another talented post in the Class of 2021, McConnell is an outstanding rebounder who is hovering around double-double territory. Kenzie averaged 16.4 PPG and was named DII 3rd Team All-Ohio by the OPSWA, while also earning First Team nods on the District 14, Mid-State Buckeye Conference and Southeast District squads.
Bella Kline – 5’11 Guard – Berne Union
Kline is a long and lanky guard who creates constant mismatches for the opposition. She shoots the 3 at a high-rate and also has no problem working on the block against smaller defenders. An All-Ohio selections as a freshman, Kline earned All-State honors again this season, being named to the DIV 3rd Team by the OPSWA. Bella scored nearly 17 PPG this year and broke her school’s single-game scoring record with a 35-point outbust against Millersport – one in which she only played 3 quarters.
Amy Velasco – 5’6 Guard – Centerville
Amy Velasco’s super sophomore season helped Centerville win the competitive Greater Western Ohio (National East) Conference, while they finished as one of Ohio’s top teams with an overall record of 25-3. Velasco was as consistent as they come, scoring double-digits in wins over Berlin Hiland, Fairmont, Wayne, Mount Notre Dame, Tecumseh and Lakota West. She scored 13.6 PPG on the year and shot 48% from the field, 39% from 3 and nearly 70% from the FT line.
