On Friday, March 26th, OGBR held the Spring Special at the spacious Ohio Sports Plus facility in Cincinnati. On the eve of The Clash, over 70 college coaches packed the baseline to watch some of the region’s top talents. They certainly saw some good players throughout the day.
Let’s take a look at some of the 2020’s that stood out at the OGBR Spring Special.
Abi Borojevich – 5’10 Wing – Archbold
Abi competed at a high level throughout the morning session. An Archbold transfer for the 2019-2020 season, she is a tremendous 3-point shooter with solid footwork and strength on her step-back jumper. She uses her length and athleticism to defend multiple positions at a high level.
Amara Croft – 5’3 Guard – Henry Ford (Michigan)
A dynamic point guard in the open court, Croft is lightning quick. She uses a devastating hesitation crossover to freeze and blow by defenders. Amara uses a number of scoring moves, including runners, floaters and Eurosteps. She sees the court well and does a nice job of creating opportunities for her teammates. She is a very good pressure defender on the ball.

Davis was physically superior to everyone else on the court during her game. She is the rare true post presence that is hard to find in today’s game. Meghan is long, athletic and strong. She has good hands and great post moves. She is a good passer and can shoot the ball well if opposing bigs back off of her.
Dominique Evans (pictured above) – 5’7 Guard – Nordonia
Dominique was one of the breakout performers from the 2020 session. She has a quick release on her jump shot and some serious range in catch-and-shoot opportunities. She can blow by defenders on poor closeouts and go to her mid-range game or finishing package at the rim.
Kenedy Flinn – 5’8 Guard – Canton McKinley
Flinn is a slasher who does a nice job of using a long first step to create separation and get to the rim. Kenedy has good length, which helps her finish over taller defenders. She has no problem finishing through contact. She is a very good on-ball defender on the perimeter.
Olivia Majors is a spunky guard who makes everyone around her better. (Photo Credit: Twitter)Olivia Majors – 5’6 Guard – Springboro
Another quick point guard, Majors brings some serious energy to the gym. She showed great leadership skills and played extremely hard. A lefty – Majors has a smooth stroke. She is at her best when she is attacking the rim, where she can finish with either hand.
Natalie Rarick – 5’11 Wing – Canal Winchester
Rarick is a true 3-point sharpshooter who doesn’t need much time to get her shot off. She has a lot of untapped potential and should continue to develop and eventually flourish at the next level. Natalie is a good rebounder who has a nose for the basketball. She has a high motor. Lefty.
