Margie Conrath, 5-9 Team Ohio Strickle- a kid who has a lot of energy, and showcased a lot of skills in the game I saw her. Not only is she a solid on-ball defender, but she is an aggressive player who is always around the ball. Offensively, she can score from the perimeter with deep range. Handles the ball well with both hands, can thread the pass in traffic, and can get to the rim to score. Reminds me a lot of Macie Blinn, former Greenville HS standout several years ago.
Carlie Arlinghaus, 5-7, Cincy Swish JJohnson- can play either the off-guard or small forward spot. One of her strongest aspects that I liked was her strong defensive play. She was aggressive to the ball, and can play inside or out. Can get by her defender and score at the rim. Good perimeter shooter. Strong intangibles.
Bailey Zerby, 5-8 Advanced Game- loves to run the floor, and push the ball in transition. Athletic player, great handles and plays under control. Smart, heady player who can get to the rim and score. Nice length with a high motor. Versatile, and can score from the perimeter out to the three.
Hailey Unger, 5-7 Team Ohio Coffee- her game has improved in the two months with this team. Can get out and go, athletic and gets into position well. Excellent catch-and-shoot perimeter player with deep range. Great hands, and can create havoc on defense with her quick hands. Can make the pass on the break, or use her first step to get by the defender and score. This kid is getting better and better.
Samill Calhoun, 5-3 Cincinnati Shock Benton- scrappy guard with a lot of upside as she heads into her senior year. Loved her energy to the ball, and she loved to push the ball in transition. Good hands, aggressive on defense. Athletic and made her teammates better. Can get to the rim and finish. Forces mistakes with her quickness.
