Her handles are clean, her shot is immaculate, her teardrop and layup skills are impeccable. She is as complete as she can be and has a relentless work effort about her, that sets her apart from all of the rest of the girls in California who play her position. We debut her as the #1 Shooting Guard in California and with talking to all of the contributing writers, it was a unanimous vote on her behalf. She recently this weekend committed to the Oregon Ducks and that is more than a fitting spot for her, hearing they have been watching her play since she was in the 8th grade. We want to congratulate her on her commitment and wish her nothing but success in her college career.
In her high school season as a junior, Tehina averaged 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assist per game and took her team to a 22-12 record, losing in the San Diego CIF Championships to Mission Hills. She would then take her team to the CIF State Semi Finals against Rosary Academy and lost a close game with a score of 62-53, her stats in that game were 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assist. She put on some remarkable shows for the fans, but the funny part is, she is coming back next year to finish out her high school career and she is going to do some amazing things as well. Again, PGH wishes Tehina PaoPao well in all of her endeavors.
