The 4th of July is obviously known for fireworks. Looking up in the sky, you can see the bright lights. Throughout the night, you can hear the crackling and exploding fireworks. It’s an exciting holiday that brings ’oohs and ahs’ from onlookers. High school basketball in Michigan has players that can create the same excitement as the fireworks on 4th of July. These athletes put on a show and pack gyms with fans waiting for them to explode.
<strong>Gabby Elliott (2020, Wing, DEPSA)</strong>
Elliott is one of the top senior prospects in the country. She’s magnificent in transition. I know I’d want a front row seat and a refreshment when watching her in the open floor.

If you find defense exciting, here’s your player. She can matchup with almost anyone and is in the discussion with the top on ball defenders in the state.

Williams is a firecracker waiting to go off at any time. She has lethal dribble combinations and very quick feet. Williams can simply create buckets.

Bowers can light the nets on fire. She’s an elite three point shooter and a game changing shooter. When Bowers shoots, the ball doesn’t just go through the net, it snaps it.

Davis has electrifying quickness. Its like her feet don’t even touch the ground. Davis’ start-stop speed makes jaws drop in the crowd.

Hagemann makes fans hold their breath because they never know what’s coming next. She could break down a defender or make an incredible pass. In fact, she might be the best passer in the state......male or female.

DeWolf is juat scratching the surface of her potential. She’s a quick lead guard that does damage in the open floor. DeWolf is ferocious on the defensive end and quickly becoming a weapon.

Honestly, Ediger can just go off. She’s a walking double-double and can collect points in bunches. We saw how dominating Ediger can be in the high school playoffs last season.

Petticord can simply control a game. She’s an excellent ball handler that can create for herself and her teammates. Petticord is a high IQ player that’s in tune mentally and physically.
