Ray Kimball and Evan originally came together to create the first Headliners Invitational Showcase in November of 2023, and after stepping away in 2024, their belief in its purpose only grew stronger, leading to its return with the goal of becoming a lasting part of the community. I'm incredibly thankful to be included in something that carries so much intention and impact. The idea for Headliners developed from watching elite camps and prospect camps across the state—while there were valuable elements like live gameplay, scrimmaging, and structured exposure opportunities, there always seemed to be a gap in fully connecting players with meaningful recruiting visibility. Headliners was built to bridge that gap, centered around the mission of helping girls basketball prospects be seen and recruited by college coaches in a more complete and purposeful way.

Mady, competing with Team Lynx at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, proved herself to be a versatile post presence who can impact the game both inside and on the perimeter. She displayed excellent touch around the basket, highlighted by a smooth finish coming off a pick-and-roll where her soft hands stood out. Mady consistently battled to establish strong positioning in the post and showed good awareness when double teams arrived, making smart kick-out passes to keep the offense flowing. She also demonstrated her ability to stretch the floor by knocking down multiple three-pointers, forcing defenders to respect her range. On the defensive end, her effort was just as noticeable—she protected the rim with key blocks and competed hard on the glass, making her a well-rounded contributor on both ends of the floor.

Ki'ell, representing Team Lynx at the P2W Headliners Invitational Showcase, made her presence felt as a hardworking forward who consistently battled for position in the paint. She showed strong determination around the rim, fighting to carve out space and give her team quality opportunities inside. Her effort on the glass stood out as she pursued rebounds with energy on both ends of the floor. What really separated her performance, though, was her vocal leadership on defense—she was constantly communicating, calling out screens, and helping organize her teammates. That level of awareness and communication added real value and highlighted her impact beyond just the stat sheet.
