More info from the circuit..

My sources keep sharing info on who has been playing well out on the circuit. Our Southern Illinois players have been making their mark. Here are some evaluations on who has been playing well. <ul> <li><strong>Kayla Gordon </strong>is a 2020 PG from Ofallon High school. She plays with the SI Hawks Elite 17u team. Kayla is a scoring point guard that is excellent at getting to rim. Kayla is capable of finishing over bigger players consistently. She has been showing off her passing skills when the defense collapses and hitting her 3 point shot. If Kayla can do these two things she is very hard to stop. She should definitely be a priority for small schools looking for a 2020 point guard.</li> <li><strong>Olivia Demosthenes </strong>is a 2020 5'5 guard from Normal West. She plays with the Illinois Pizzaz 17u team. Olivia and the team are off to a hot start on the circuit. She has continued to be a real force on the offensive end. Olivia can score at all 3 levels and does a nice job with a variety of finishes and floaters. Being a smaller guard she has become adept at finishing in traffic.</li> <li><strong>Maura Neimeier </strong>is a 2022 5'8 guard from Civic Memorial. She plays with the SI Hawks Elite 16u team. Maura continues to show the growth in her game that landed her on my stock riser list. She is an absolute ball hawk on defense. Maura displays a motor and energy that really carries her teammates to give the same effort. Her offense is really improving as she displays a variety of runners and finishing moves as she attacks the rim.</li> <li><strong>Ally Fitzgerald </strong>is a 2022 6'1 4/5 from Marquette High School in St.Louis. She plays with the Blue Star Silvey 15u team. Ally has been a rising star this year and has already landed D1 offers to Illinois St and SEMO. She is a force on defense blocking shots at a clip of 4 per game. She is long and rebounds very well too. Her offensive game is still developing but her defense and rebounding are already top notch.</li> <li><strong>Emily Reynolds </strong>is a 2020 5'11 4/5 from Hillsboro. She plays with the Central Illinois Predators 17u team. Emily has been very strong on the boards for the Predators. She plays solid defense and shows off a great IQ for the game. The biggest improvement for Emily has been her mid range offensive game. Her jumper has been really consistent and she has been much more aggressive scoring the ball.</li> <li><strong>Jessa Vetter </strong>is a 2021 5'7 guard from Greenfield. She plays with the Illinois Inferno 17u team. Jessa has done an excellent job leading her team and sharing the ball. She has been dishing out close to 10 dimes in a few games. Jessa is excellent on defense hounding her opponent. She is looking to a strong junior campaign at Greenfield.</li> <li><strong>Bria James </strong>is a 2020 5'7 guard from Belleville East. She plays with the Evolution Elite 17u team. Bria is another really tough defender. She has been getting 4-5 steals every game and just simply taking them over at times. Her quickness and toughness cause havoc for the other team. Bria also rebounds well for her size and can get to the rim. She is another guard to watch at Belleville East.</li> </ul>
