Wisconsin is set to host its first marquee event of the AAU season this weekend, with over 100 teams making their way into the building. That alone gives this event real value as an early opportunity to see some of the top programs and players in the Midwest. Illinois will have plenty of talent in the mix, especially at the 15U level. Below are some of the top 15U teams out of Illinois, along with some of their top talent to watch.

*If rosters weren't submitted, player and team evaluations will be limited.

[program_tooltip program_id='716040' first='Ignite' last='Hoops']

[player_tooltip player_id='1217102' first='Mia' last='Marling'] - One of the top 2029s in Illinois. A kid who can score at the rim and beyond. She has the length, the agility, and the motor to be a legitimate two way threat as time goes on. What she has done up to this point only proves how high her upside is.

Mckenna Carroll - The versatility, the length, and the energy on the defensive end of the floor will always keep McKenna on the court. She can guard both the perimeter and the paint, and if she is beaten, she has the agility to get back into the play and cause some disruption.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217205' first='Tess' last='Brennan'] - A player who does not let her size affect her confidence at all. Brennan might not be the biggest player on the court, but she plays like it, and she plays the game with a hard hat and a lot of heart. She can get to the rim and finish around the bigs or absorb contact and make something happen.

[program_tooltip program_id='834910' first='Example' last='Sports'] 15U UAA

[player_tooltip player_id='1223198' first='Kendall' last='Hojara'] - A kid who can stretch the floor at a high rate, but has no issue putting the ball on the floor and making something happen that way. She doesn't need to be flashy when she's attacking the rim, she shows a good understanding of how to use angles to finish around traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1223322' first='Taylor' last='Kravarik'] - One of the more high-energy and aggressive young players that I've gotten the chance to watch this summer. Taylor will be a problem for any guard who thinks getting into the paint will be easy. Besides being a perimeter issue, she's active in the passing lanes as well as the open floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225771' first='Kennedy' last='Benson'] - Benson just keeps getting better from a skill set standpoint. She is a key contributor to this program and to her high school program, and when you watch her play, you understand why. There are still things she needs to sharpen, but it allows her to stand out on any court. The majority of what she has now gets the job done.

MORE PLAYERS TO KEEP AN EYE ON

ASHLEY SKELTON

ZARRIELL WILLIAMS

CHLOE MUEHLEIP

GIANNA GRAY
