Class of 2021
Emma Hess (Legacy Christian)- Emma is a player who continues to improve on her game, as she not only can play the guard spot, but can defend a post player. Good handles and moves well without the ball, she can score from the perimeter, slash to the rim and finish. Good on ball defender, and getting better. Athletic kid who is very fluid on the court. Already had offers from various levels.
Brynn Mullet (Berlin Hiland)- saw this kid play in Cincinnati back in April and liked everything about her game. First of all, Brynn (pictured above) plays with a traditional state power at HIland High School, so she is well coached and big-game tested. From the combo guard spot, she is one of the best shooters in Ohio with a smooth stroke. She has multiple offers already, and I look for that to increase once the summer ends.
Kathleen Ahner (Legacy Christian)- probably the most underrated guard in Ohio. Her stock has skyrocketed the past 12 months, and she has moved into being likely the third best point guard in the Dayton area next season behind Ivy Wolf and Amy Velasco. Ahner is hard-nosed and works harder than anyone. Great handles, smooth stroke to the three, not flashy just effective. You better come to play against her and bring your best game.
Emina Selimovic (McDowell, PA)- really liked this Erie, PA kid when I saw her at the Pittsburgh Top 100 event in the spring, then saw her with her AAU team this summer. Can play the forward spot, good on the boards, moves well without the ball. Good hands and has good moves in the paint. Continuing to get better.
Abbigail Peterson (Springfield Catholic Central)- athletic guard with a lot of tools. Can score from the perimeter, defend either guard spot, and get to the rim. Uses her body well, can play physical and score in the paint against taller players. Smart basketball IQ, coaches kid.
