The Central Buckeye Conference looks to be a competitive league, as the Kenton Trail Division will bring a lot of talent to the table. Tecumseh has won the last four titles, who steps up this year to take the title?

<strong>Bellefontaine</strong>
With the loss of Aubrey Stolly, the Chieftans offense will be looking for someone to step up this season. Senior Hannah Rader returns as the leading scorer from last season at under five points per game. Senior Lexxi Gorham is also back.
<strong>Jonathan Alder</strong>
The favorites heading into the season with the most experience back this season. Senior [player_tooltip player_id="89269" first="Abby" last="Jones"] is the best returning player in the league, but she has plenty of top notch supporting cast with her. Jones<span style="font-size: 10pt"><strong> </strong></span>is a solid wing with good range who is a good leader. Senior Sydney Bourquin is back at point guard and is very talented floor leader. She can score and distribute for a good shot. Another senior Melissa Walbom is also back along with a key sophomore Mary Ferrito who looks to be a major factor this season. Senior Sydnie Bushong is also back and an experienced leader.
<strong>Kenton Ridge</strong>
They lost a lot of their offense from last year, three of them are now playing college basketball this season. Joshlynn Johnson is their top returning player, and the junior will have to step up her game this season. Senior Elli Schleintz also returns with experience. The key for KR will be who steps up to the challenge and keeps their tradition going.
<strong>London</strong>
Senior Rachel Alexander is the top returning scorer for the Red Raiders, as they look to compete for a league title this season. Alexander averaged just under nine points per game last year, Junior Elli Trimble also returns who had a few productive game offensively last year and will have to increase her production. Junior Lexi Zabloudil is back as they look to improve on their fourth place finish in the league.
<strong>Shawnee</strong>
The Braves return one player who was an offensive factor last season in Andi Meeks, averaging nearly eight points per game. Other players returning to watch are Isabella DeMayo, Deanna Barnes, Hannah Beers, and Zoe Ballard. Two years ago the Braves competed at the top of the division and fell to the bottom of the KTC last year at 0-10. They look to get back this season.
<strong>Tecumseh</strong>
The Arrows lost their top two players to graduation, and now with a new head coach, the Arrows look to stay on top of the league. Sophomore Mae Mastin returns as the leading scorer, and is an impressive point guard and floor leader. She sees the floor well and makes things happen. Terah Harness will be a much bigger factor this year also, as she is one of the top players in the league.
