Well, that didn’t happen totally because 2020 Top 100 Paetynn Gray (Cal State Northridge) commit, was out with a minor injury but she’ll be back soon and when she does, there will be another added element as the 6’3 G/F did a lot of things that impressed me to close out the club season in the Summer Elite Championship
2021
Malaysia DePriscoMalaysia DePrisco-5’9-G has so much athleticism and her defense stood out as a freshman however she opened game one with a nice midrange pull-up as well as attacked the rim numerous times and I’m adding her to the 2021 Top 100 list as I type
Tajanna White-6’1-P gave plenty of help on the inside. Strong body, well strong period as she battled on the boards and finished with contact but her defense in the paint will go a long way throughout the season
Mikayla JohnsonMikayla Johnson-5’3-G I added her in a story on my blog about #sizedontmatter when you can play guards and she’s always excited me because once she gets going, watching her adrenaline trickles down to her teammates and her catch and shoot from deep was one of the events many highlights
2022
Lexi Alexander-6’0 F strong and powerful on the inside yet can shoot the mid to long range and her handle is good enough to take defenders off the dribble. She showed me even more than she did over the club season and still has upside
Jakayla ThompsonJakayla Thompson-5’7 G explosive first step enables her to keep defenders guessing because she can shoot the ball from the outside, either with the stop and pop in transition, the pull-up going full speed or the step back from ether mid to long range
Alex Neimeth-5’8 G impressed me after seeing a video while she was in middle school and her clutch performances from the summer is continuing because she nailed a midrange down the stretch during their impressive comeback in game 2. She gets hers in the flow, defends, rebounds and plays passing lane
