As you may know, we are releasing a huge update very soon! Throughout the month, I have been dropping little teaser articles here and there. Well today I feel like giving! Today, we will go over the new top 5 guards from each class! Some classes will see significant changes, while some will see very little movement at the top.
#1 Mia Davis 6'0 2023 G Xavier
Mia Davis is by far the best guard and overall prospect in the class. She has so much size and skill, it's ridiculous. She has the potential to be one of the great players in AZ. Only time will tell how great she will be! Good luck to Mia, very excited to see her play.
#2 Sienna Cherwinski 5'4 2023 G Xavier
Xavier Prep coming in hot with the #1 and #2 guards of the class. The future is bright for Xavier under these two players. Cherwinski is already a knock down shooter. She is getting better as an overall guard and enhancing her scoring ability to not just shooting.
#3 Mia Amundsen 5'4 2023 G Millennium
Amundsen is really growing in skill and development. I think she could eventually overtake that #2 spot but only time will tell. Amundsen is a prospect to keep a very close eye on this year. I question how much playing time she'll get with Millennium, since they already have some elite guards.
#4 Olivia Arvallo 5'3 2023 G Valley Vista
Olivia is a really skilled player, I think the only thing that holds her back is her size. Speaking as a former undersized high school point guard, I know the struggle. I think she will find ways to negate that factor and will grow as a player. If she grew a couple of inches that'd be amazing too.
#5 Abby Ostlie 5'7 2023 G Chaparral
Ostlie is a prospect that is really growing on me as well. She has really good size and reminds me a lot of her older sister, Anna Ostlie. I think Abby has all the intangibles to be great right now. I am really excited to see how well she progresses and see her overall game grow.
