Here are the Middle School Top Performers.
Leah Barnes, 5’11 Combo Guard C/O 2024, Carrollwood Day
Barnes was definitely the most talented middle school student-athlete in the building! Offensively she can do it all. Her handles were elite, she had the ability to drive with ease and could finish with contact. She can knock down the three or pull up off the dribble. In addition to her offensive skills, she dominated the boards in every game she played and was an aggressive defender. Barnes is definitely a player to have on your radar! This kid can flat out play!
Omara Gordon, 5’8 Forward C/O 2024, Lockhart Middle
High motor forward that can get after it! Gordon is a talented athlete that plays with high intensity and toughness. She could get to the rim with ease and finish. Gordon displayed quick hands on defense and was able to defend anyone on the court.
Camryn Patterson 5’7 Guard C/O 2024, Arbor Ridge K8
Patterson stood out offensively with her ability to penetrate to the basket so she could dish it to her teammates. She also had the ability to create shots off the dribble. Throughout all of her games she pushed the tempo and distributed the ball at a high level. Patterson was a floor general with an impressive IQ.
